Hope Resource will be moving June 23rd. We will remain in Jefferson Georgia at 50 Professional Drive. To find us take hwy 11 out of Jefferson toward Winder, past Real Deals. Professional Drive will be on your left before Carquest. Our new mailing address is PO Box 845 Jefferson, Ga 30549.

Hearts for Hope Kids Consignment Sale

The staff and volunteers of HRC were honored with a luncheon prepared by some of the wonderful ladies from Walnut Fork Baptist Church. A day of good food and fellowship was had by all.

Kudo's to the VBS Kids at White Plains Baptist Church

White Plains church VBS Kids and Parents donated their VBS offering to Hope Resource Center. As a little incentive our own Board Chairman Tim Thomas, challenged the parents to match the kids donation, and if they did he would shave his head. We appreciate you all so much. May God's blessings continue to be with you all.

TEEN STATISTICS

• The majority of young women become sexually active during their teenage years - the proportion who have had intercourse reaches at least three-quarters by age 20.
• More than half of 17-year olds are no longer virgins.
• Every year 3 million teens - about 1 in 4 sexually experienced teens - acquire an STD. That averages out to more than 8,200 different STD infections daily!
• Every year, at least 800,000 teen girls - 10% of all women aged 15-19 and 19% of those who have had sexual intercourse - become pregnant.
• 40% of those teenage pregnancies end in abortion. That's over 320,000 teen abortions every year!

Benefit Sale April 18, 2009

We will be having a sale to benefit HRC on April 18, 2009 8am-12noon. We are asking for garage sale donations that you may have. Items will be accepted at our office in Jefferson, Ga. until Wed. April 15,2009. Our hrs are 10:30-2:30 Monday Tuesday and Wednesday.

So clean out those closets and help support our ministry at HRC.

To host a baby bottle campaign. We provide the bottles and information, you and your group keep the bottles for a couple of weeks and fill with extra cash or change. Then we schedule a pickup date with you. It’s a very easy way to help HRC reach women and families, with the hope of Jesus Christ. Give our office a call or email us to get more information.
